I've
been using the Macintosh for more than 17 years
I
started career in 1976 as a graphic designer. In 1989 I abandoned
my drawing table, T-square, X-acto knife and markers in favor
of a new tool called the Macintosh. It has since revolutionized
the graphics industry! From day one I was not afraid to tear
into the software and hardware to find out what makes it tick.
Experience
I have been using the Macintosh since 1989. My first Mac was
a IIx with 8MB RAM and a whopping 210MB hard drive. It ran
System 6.x. My first applications were Quark Xpress 2.0, Freehand
2.0 and a brand new application called Adobe Photoshop version
1.0. I was hooked.
Being the owner of a small design studio saving money was a
priority. As such I learned everything necessary to maintain
the computers as well as utilize the application.
I found out that maintaining and utilizing the Mac was very intuitive for me.
I seemed to know how to resolve problems and operate applications with great
ease. The Mac was great. It still is. Since day one I have made it a priority
to stay on top of the latest most pertinent information regarding it's operation
and applications.
As a Mac based graphic designer, I had been called upon by friends, fellow artists
and clients alike to help them with their Mac. It's something I enjoyed as much
as,
maybe more than, being a graphic designer.
My skills now cover most major graphics applications. Diagnosing & repairing
system and application related problems. Working with small and medium sized
LANs (local area networks). Consulting and recommending system upgrades for both
hardware and software related needs.
Whether you simply need more memory installed in your iMac or a complete overhaul
of your graphics department system I can provide the service you need.
